Practical guide / Funding & support

How can you reduce uncertainty before committing?

Build the business case first. Match a well-defined project to testing support, expertise and an appropriate funding route.

01

Test before you invest

European Digital Innovation Hubs offer expertise, testing, training and financing advice. Ask a relevant hub about the service, access conditions, cost and waiting time.

02

Check the actual call

Confirm whether a programme is open, your organisation is eligible and your proposed costs qualify. Use the official call and amendments rather than a general funding promise.

03

Budget beyond the grant

Include integration, training, ongoing licences, security, human review and support. Compare the project with and without support; a subsidy does not establish business value.

Put it to work
