The case, explained simply
Alpha Bank · Copilot
Help staff write, summarise and prepare everyday work faster.

What actually happened
Alpha Bank reported that more than 300 employees had adopted Microsoft Copilot, with support from EY Greece. Its internal user survey reported around 25% average time savings and more than 70% satisfaction. Examples included emails, documents and meeting summaries. The release also set an expansion target; a target is not evidence that the expansion happened.
What the evidence does not tell us
These are user-reported findings from an internal survey, not independently measured cash savings. The release does not disclose a complete cost comparison or prove that every role benefits equally.
What a Greek organisation can learn
- Pick one familiar task, such as turning meeting notes into an agreed action list. Avoid starting with sensitive customer material.
- Ask a few volunteers to complete comparable tasks with and without the assistant. Count checking and correction time.
- Ask whether the final work is usable, whether anything important was omitted, and what staff did with the time saved. Decide on licences after that comparison.
Before spending money
Include licences, training and review time. A quicker draft has little value if a manager must rewrite it. Start with the tools people already use.
