Your next steps
I build or research AI
Connect a useful idea with a real user, suitable computing support and evidence that someone can trust.
1. Find a user with a real need
Ask who would use the result and what they do today. Agree on a small task you can test together before developing a broader product.
For example: A laboratory wants to find relevant records faster, not simply to own a chatbot.
Explore the evidence2. Check data and computing needs
Describe the data you can use, the experiment and the support you lack. Ask the relevant service about access conditions instead of assuming free capacity.
For example: Take PHAROS a short description of the task, data size and technical bottleneck.
Find support routes3. Prove the useful improvement
Compare with the user’s current method. Keep difficult examples and failed results, and show the work required to check outputs.
For example: Show correct answers, missed answers and checking time on the same agreed set of examples.
Explain the result simply4. Prepare a clear next request
Ask for a specific collaboration, funding route or trial. Include evidence, responsibilities, remaining uncertainty and the resources needed.
For example: We need a partner to test this on an additional set of records, with an agreed review date.
Find a suitable organisationYou are ready for the next step when…
You have a willing test partner, permitted data, a practical measure of success and a clear request for support. A promising demonstration becomes a credible project when those pieces fit.
